The main difference from the previous RC is a new Linux kernel

Siduction 12.1, a Linux distribution that ships with three desktop environments, KDE SC, XFCE and LXDE, for both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures, was announced today.

Siduction 12.1, codenamed Desperado, is actually a Linux distribution based on Debian Sid from 2012-05-21, with a lot of extra packages and scripts. All Siduction editions have Linux kernel 3.4.0 and Xorg Server 1.12.1.902-1.

The three desktop environments available in Siduction 12.1 are KDE SC 4.8.3, XFCE 4.8 and the latest LXDE version, for both 32-bit and 64-bit platform.

Among other implemented features there's the new sidu-disk-center, an application that implements the opportunity to set up and maintain the Logical Volume Manager (LVM) prior to installation, Razor-Qt (a separate repository), apt-listchanges has been added to the image, and the OS infrastructure has been hardened and refined.
