A beta version of this game can be installed by Steam users
Shadowrun Returns, a classic RPG game developed and published by Harebrained Schemes, has been released for the Linux version, although it's still in the Beta stage.The developers have raised the necessary funds through a Kickstarter project and one of their goals has been the release of a Linux build.
Now, that Linux version has arrived with the help of a huge update the also corrects a number of problems with the game.
Highlights of the latest Shadowrun Returns patch:
• Linux support has been added;
• Items can now have a passive status effects that are enabled from the inventory;
• Light transitions scripts now allows for gentle or abrupt, repeatable, light patterns via triggers;
• Mission objective style screen labels can now display a bar as well as text to track progress toward goals.
