The distribution is the first development version in the 3.x branch

Semplice Linux, a GNU/Linux distribution based on Debian's Sid unstable branch with the goal to provide a simple, lightweight, fast and cool environment, has made it to version 3.0 Alpha 1.

Semplice Linux 3.0 Alpha 1 is the first development release in the 3.x branch and is based on Debian Sid, as of February 6th, 2012.

This first development version of Semplice Linux 3.0 comes with Linux kernel 3.2.4, Openbox 3.5.0, Chromium web browser 16.0.912.77, Exaile 0.3.2.2, GNOME MPlayer 1.0.5, Abiword 2.9.2, Gnumeric 1.10.17, Pidgin Internet Messenger 2.10.1, And Guake Terminal 0.4.2.
