Semplice Linux, a GNU/Linux distribution based on Debian's Sid unstable branch with the goal to provide a simple, lightweight, fast and cool environment, has made it to version 2.0.0.

The Semplice Project announced the release of Semplice 2.0.2, codenamed Emily, which comes with a few fixes and firmware support for various hardware components.

Highlights of Semplice 2.0.2:

· Automount of VFAT partitions has been fixed; · Non-empty automount partitions handling has been fixed; · Partition sorting during fstab creation was repaired; · Nitrogen-add-wallpaper bug when adding wallpapers with spaces in path was fixed; · Volti multimedia keys now work properly; · New firmware drivers were added; · Mobile broadband support was introduced. Modemmanager and mobile-broadband-provider-info are installed by default, providing support for mobile broadband.
