Maureen Jett, a product director from VanDyke Software, has announced that SecureCRT 7.1 is now available for Linux, for both Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux OSes.

SecureCRT 7.1.1 provides terminal emulation for computing professionals, raising productivity with advanced session management and a host of ways to save time and streamline repetitive tasks.

Highlights of SecureCRT 7.1.1:

• SecureCRT no longer hangs if a script called Screen.CurrentColumn or Screen.CurrentRow before user authentication is completed; • When button bar gets a name that contains an ampersand (&), the ampersand is no longer dropped; • Kubuntu 13.04 no longer crashes when running SecureCRT 7.1, due to a mismatched Qt library; • Various other fixes have been included.

A complete list of changes and updates can be found in the official announcement.
