Maureen Jett, a product director from VanDyke Software, has announced that SecureCRT 7.0.2 is now available for Linux, for both Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux OSes.

SecureCRT 7.0.2 provides terminal emulation for computing professionals, raising productivity with advanced session management and a host of ways to save time and streamline repetitive tasks.

Highlights of SecureCRT 7.0.2:

• Character encodings that cannot be used by SecureCRT are no longer shown in Terminal/Appearance category in the Session Options dialog; • A crash that occurred if the protocol type was changed during authentication, has been repaired; • An error text was not displayed correctly on Ubuntu with the Korean language pack installed and set as the primary language; • A crash that occurred after the Report button was pressed in the crash handler dialog, has been fixed.
