Maureen Jett, a product director from VanDyke Software, has announced that SecureCRT 7.0.1 is now available for Linux, for both Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux OSes.

SecureCRT 7.0.1 provides terminal emulation for computing professionals, raising productivity with advanced session management and a host of ways to save time and streamline repetitive tasks.

Highlights of SecureCRT 7.0.1:

· The xterm set title escape sequence ending with \033\\ is now supported in addition to \007; · Hostkey database paths that contained "%USERPROFILE%" are now expanded correctly.; · The ConnectInTab script function did now honors the "Reuse disconnected tabs" setting; · SecureCRT no longer prompts when the log file exists, if the "Append to file" option was set.;
