The specifications of this Live CD are the same with the regular distribution

The second Release Candidate version of the Live edition of Scientific Linux 6.3, a recompiled Red Hat Enterprise Linux put together by various labs and universities around the world, is now available for download and testing.

Highlights of Scientific Linux Live CD 6.3 RC2:

• OpenAFS has been updated to version 1.6.1-112.sl6. Additionally, this package has been patched to disable NAT pings; • External repositories for yum have been added; • Updated GPG key list and the CERN's key is now listed; • Xorg Server has been changed in order to remove TUV's support URL.
