Salvation Prophecy, a space opera developed by Firedance Games, has made it to Linux and it’s working on multiple distros.

Salvation Prophecy is a mash-up of multiple genres, but it’s mostly space combat/simulator experience combined with a lot of third-person missions.

The player will begin his adventure as a simple soldier, but he will soon get involved in a war between four warring factions that try to take control over the galaxy.

Overs 50 fighter ships, space stations, and battleships are available in the game and the player will be able to visit quite a few planets.

So far, the game supports only proprietary drivers from Nvidia and AMD. It’s already available on Desura, for Windows and Linux. The Steam version will be released soon, through the Steam Greenlight program.

More details about this amazing game can be found on Desura’s website.
