The Salix OS Team has announced yesterday, January 2nd, that a second Released Candidate of the upcoming Salix OS Xfce Live 13.37 distro is now available for download.

The development team hopes this will be the last Release Candidate for Salix OS Xfce Live 13.37, before the final version.

A lot of fixes were implemented in this Salix OS Xfce Live 13.37 RC2, both to the SaLT system and to the Live tools (Live Installer, LiloSetup, LiveClone and Persistence Wizard).

Among other important changes in Salix OS Xfce Live 13.37 RC2 we can mention:  weird mountpoints shown in the persistence wizard were fixed, some changes in the persistence file don't need reboot,  loopback.cfg is fully supported, and power down/reboot functions now work properly.

A complete changelog can be found here.

Download Salix Live Xfce 13.37 RC2 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development release and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended to be used for testing purposes only.
