Another online petition regarding the release of Rockstar Games for the Linux platform is now available now and it’s gathering signatures at a fast pace.

Linux gamers have received an infusion of courage and hope with the release of Steam for Linux. Since the release of the digital distribution platform from Valve, more games have been ported than ever before.

“But why port to Linux? There are many reasons why you would port to Linux. Firstly, the operating system is free unlike Windows or Mac OS X. Secondly, there are many different flavours of Linux, don’t like this desktop environment then you just find a distribution with the desktop environment you like,” is stated in the petition.

So far almost 4000 people have signed the online document. If you want to support this worthy cause, you can sign the petition here.
