Rescatux, a GNU/Linux rescue CD that is equipped with Rescapp, which is a nice wizard that will guide you through your rescue tasks, is now at version 0.31 Beta 3.

Rescatux can fix GRUB and GRUB2, check and fix filesystems (Windows MBR included), change Gnu/Linux password, regenerate sudoers file, and much more.

Highlights of Rescatux 0.31 Beta 3:

• Razor-qt desktop have been updated from the 4.x version to the 5.x version; • A frame has been added so the embedded webpage is seen inside a grey square; • The xchat nickname now shows the Rescapp version; • The boot-repair, clean-ubiquity, os-uninstaller, and the testdisk photorec tools have been added.

A complete list of changes can be found in the official announcement.

Download Rescatux 0.31 Beta 3 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a Beta version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
