ROSA Desktop 2012 RC Features KDE 4.9.4

This Russian distribution is looking better and better with each release

ROSA Desktop, a Linux distribution based on KDE SC desktop environment, which includes sufficient software to fulfill most of the typical tasks of a user, is now at version 2012 RC.

The ROSA Desktop distribution is approaching the final version and the developers have made great strides in a very short amount of time, improving the stability of the system, fixing critical issues, and adding support for a wide range of hardware.

The most important changes in this latest and probably only release candidate are the updates for the semantic desktop tool TimeFrame and the improvements made for the GRUB2 boot loader.

Other changes include modifications to the distributions design, including the main theme and icons, and updates for most of the system components (Linux kernel 3.6.7, KDE 4.9.4, and much more).

A complete list of changes and new features is available in the official announcement.
