Quirky, a Linux distribution from the “Puppy Linux family” that is used to introduce new ideas and applications, has now reached version 6.1.1.

This version of Quirky, 6.1.1, is intended to be as small as possible, providing support for f2fs (Flash-Friendly File System) and a few others.

“Quirky 6.1.1 has many important bug fixes, it is highly recommended to use. If you already have an earlier version than 6.1.1 installed, there are Service Packs, an easy means to upgrade,” reads the developer the official announcement.

More details about this bleeding edge release of Puppy can be found in the official blog post. Download Quirky 6.1.1 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
