Qt, a cross-platform application and UI framework with APIs for C++ programming, is now at version 5.1 RC1.

The Digia developers have announced another development version of Qt, bringing it a little closer to a final version, which should arrive in summer.

• Online installers are now available for Mac, Windows and Linux hosts; • 32-bit and 64-bit Linux host support for Android has been added; • MinGW toolchain has been updated to version 4.8.0; • The Perl dependency has been removed for building Qt.

A complete list of changes and fixes can be found in the official announcement.
