The first development version of the upcoming PyGObject 3.10 library for the GNOME 3.10 desktop environment was announced a few days ago, bringing several fixes and improvements.

PyGObject 3.9.1 uses the correct class for the GtkEditable's get_selection_bounds() function, test results have been added to the g_base_info_get_name function for NULL, the ObjectInfo.get_class_struct() function has been added and tests will no longer be built until needed.

Moreover, this first development release of PyGObject 3.10 removes Python keyword escapement in Repository.find_by_name, optimizes signal lookup in gi repository, optimizes connection of Python-implemented signals, consolidates signal connection code, and fixes setting of struct property values.

PyGObject 3.9.1 is part of the recently released GNOME 3.9.1 desktop environment, the first development release towards GNOME 3.10. More details can be found in the official raw changelog.
