Proxmox VE (Virtual Environment), an easy-to-use open-source virtualization platform for running Virtual Appliances and Virtual Machines, is now at version 2.3.

According to the developers, Proxmox VE 2.2 includes countless improvements and a lot of exciting new features, like live snapshots for KVM guests.

Highlights of Proxmox VE 2.3:

• Linux kernel was updated to version 2.6.32-042stab072.10.src.rpm; • qemu-kvm was updated to version 1.4.0; • Memory GUI has been extended in order to support ballooning; • HD resize feature has been added to expand disks; • The underlying Debian distro was updated to version 6.0.7.
