Plex Media Server 0.9.8.4 has been designed from the ground up to work automatically in a home network with a variety of devices – like an LG 2011 Netcast TV, Plex Client for Mac OS X, or numerous Mobile Devices like iPhone, iPad or Android device.
This version of the media server brings a new multi-user mode that can be used to restrict child access to certain parts for the library, a “control room” for the server, a new option to index media files, HTTPS support, various DLNA fixes, and a few others.
