The final version should be available sometime this summer

The third milestone release of the Phoronix Test Suite 4.0 (Suldal) has been announced today by Michael Larabel.

Phoronix Test Suite is the most comprehensive benchmarking and testing platform available for Linux, and designed to carry out qualitative and quantitative benchmarks in a clean, reproducible, and easy-to-use manner.

Highlights of Phoronix Test Suite 4.0 Milestone 3:

· Reformat user configuration input on test run; · Improve no-network support handling; · Streamline detailed-system-info collection; · Invalid command improvements have been implemented; · Various alterations have been implemented; · Make greater use of trigger_error; · Generate more relevant default result identifier strings based on subsystems under test on empty input; · Support to attempt to detect the file-system underneath ecryptfs; · Debian control script has been updated.
