On November 12, Kendall Weaver announced that the Peppermint OS Three, a Linux-based operating system designed for enhanced mobility, efficiency and ease of use, is now at version 20121105.

Peppermint OS Three 20121105 is a re-spin of the original release, designed to support both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.

This release switches back to the desktop notifications from Peppermint Two, but it can also be implemented in the current Peppermint Three release by installing the notify-osd and notify-osd-icons packages using the Synaptic Package Manager app, and removing the notification-daemon package.

Peppermint OS Three 20121105 also includes all the latest updates and patches as of November 5th, 2012, so you won't have to download hundreds of megabytes of updates after installing the system.
