PeaZip 4.7.3, an open source file and archive manager that can be used to extract, create and convert multiple archives at once, has been announced on the second day of Christmas, December 26th.

The PeaZip developers have stated that this is just a small maintenance update, contains new Spanish and Galician translations, and supports 171 file extensions (added Windows 8 .appx, AutoCAD .dwfx, .xps, and other Open Packaging Conventions file formats).

Highlights of PeaZip 4.7.3:

• Main extraction parameters are now displayed in extraction form title and during drag and drop operation from archives; • Before the creation of archives, a quick approximate calculation of potential compression is displayed; • Translations are available in 29 languages.
