Pardus Community Edition 3.0 RC1, a distribution that aims to appeal to everybody and comes with its own tools, has been released and is available for testing and download.

The current development version of the Pardus operating system brings a lot of interesting features and new packages.

Pardus Community Edition 3.0 RC1 is based on Linux kernel 3.12.6 and comes with a number of desktop environments: KDE 4.11.3, GNOME 3.8.4, and Xfce 4.10.

Other major packages that have been included are LibreOffice 4.1.4 + Zemberek, Thunderbird 24.2, Firefox 26, Chromium 30, Cups 1.7.1, NVIDIA 319.76, ATI 13.12, and VLC 2.1.2.
