Paper Dungeons, a fantasy board game developed Stephane Valverde and Leslie Valverde, and published by Agent Mega, has been released on Steam for Linux.

Paper Dungeons has been described by its developers as a fantasy board game mixing tactics and roguelike, but the title might just be too complex to be classified as one particular genre.

“With the ability to create and share online your own levels, you are up for an infinite replay value! The game is visualized as a classic tabletop board game with dice and tokens. You can destroy walls and auto-heal as you uncover new dungeon tiles, which widens your choice of moves,” said the developers on the official website.

Paper Dungeons is in the Early Access Game program on Steam, which means that it's still under heavy development, but it can be purchased and played. You might encounter some bugs and other problems, but that should be expected.

The Linux system requirements are quite small so, most likely, a lot of people will be able to play it: an operating system with Linux Kernel 3.2, a single-core 1.6 GHz processor, 1024 MB of RAM, a video card with 512 MB, and 500 MB of available HDD space.

More details about Paper Dungeons can be found on the official Steam website.
