Painkiller Hell & Damnation, a remake and a sequel for the immensely popular Painkiller made by People Can Fly in 2004, is now available for purchase on the Linux platform with a 75% discount.

The developer of the new Painkiller Hell & Damnation title, The Farm 51, has made more than just a simple port of the old game on the newer Unreal 3 engine. It has managed to add its own levels and enemies and that leaves the player with a unique feeling.

“Evil has returned! Demonic powers are manifesting themselves as a myriad of dark creatures, fighting over the fates of imprisoned souls caught in Purgatory,” reads the official synopsis.

All the DLCs released so far also benefit from the same discount: City Critters, Demonic Vacation at the Blood Sea, Heaven's Above, Full Metal Rocket, Operation “Zombie Bunker,” The Clock Strikes Meat Night, and Medieval Horror.

The users can also purchase the “Painkiller Hell and Damnation 4-pack,” which includes three extra copies of Painkiller Hell & Damnation Standard Edition.

More details about the Painkiller Hell & Damnation Linux version can be found on the Steam website. The promotion is scheduled to end on March 17, so you still have some time to decide.
