Ozon OS, the new Linux distribution developed by Nitrux and Numix that has been under development for a few months, is starting to shape up and some new images show just how far the developers managed to take it.
This new Linux distribution is a collaboration between Nitrox and Numix, two teams that are mostly known for their work on themes and icon packs. Right from the start, the developers said that it would be an operating system that focused on gaming, which means that it would also have to be pretty light.
Ozon OS has already adopted GNOME 3.12.1, but the teams are making some changes to it so that it will feel like something unique, not just a rehash of the GNOME stack.
The development of Ozon OS seems to go along just nicely and the notifications system was just put in place. The devs still have a long road ahead of them, but if they keep up this great work we might get something that we can actually test really soon.
For now, users can only look at the nice pictures from the developers, but I'm certain that we'll have some more in the near future. A new beautiful OS is exactly what we need right now, and Ozon will certainly fit the bill.
Enjoy!
