The platformer game is now available on Steam for Linux

Housemarque, a Finnish independent game developer company, confirmed a few minutes ago on Twitter that their outstanding and entertaining Outland fast-paced platformer video game is now available for all Linux kernel-based operating systems.

Originally released on September 29, 2014, Outland is a dynamic and fast-paced platformer, action and adventure game where the player’s mission is to save the world from dark forces. In this epic journey, you will use powers of light and dark to fight evil.

The game is available today via Steam for Linux. It is also compatible with the Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows operating systems. Outland comes in three editions, only the game for 9,99€ ($9.99), two copies of Outland for you and a friend for 15,99€ ($15.99), and a special edition that includes the original soundtrack and artbook for only 13.99€ ($13.99).

Outland’s developer, Housemarque, focuses on creating games for PC, mobile and console devices. They are known for amazing titles like Dead Nation, RESOGUN, and Super Stardust HD.
