Opera 12.15 for Linux Fixes an Undisclosed Problem

Opera, an Internet browser developed by Opera Software that provides support for RSS feeds, BitTorrent, IRC chatting, contact management, and many other features, is now at version 12.15.

The developers from Opera Software have rapidly gone through a few development versions and have pushed the final version of Opera 12.15 for release.

Highlights of Opera 12.15:

• An issue where the search bar's default engine could be overridden by third-party apps, has been fixed;
• A moderately severe issue, that will be disclosed at a later date, has been fixed;
• A few safeguards have been implemented against attacks on the RC4 encryption protocol;
• An issue where cookies could be set for a top-level domain, has been fixed.
