OpenLDAP Software, an open source implementation of the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol that includes slapd, libraries using the LDAP protocol, utilities, and tools, is now at version 2.4.39.

The Lightweight Directory Access Protocol is used to access directory services, specifically the X.500-based directory service. It runs over TCP/IP or any connection that features oriented transfer services.

Highlights of OpenLDAP 2.4.39:

• A libldap MozNSS crash has been fixed; • A libldap memory leak with SASL has been corrected; • A libldap assert in parse_passwdpolicy_control has been fixed; • deref is now used to correct control; • slapd-bdb/hdb has been fixed to bail out of search if the config has been paused; • An indexing issue with derived attributes has been fixed.

A complete list of updates and fixes can be found in the official changelog. Download OpenLDAP 2.4.39 right now from Softpedia.
