Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty, a remake of the original Abe's Oddysee, is a game developed by Just Add Water (Developments) and available on Steam for Linux. The game is now available for short time with a 40% discount.

Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is not just a simple remake of the original game, the developers from Just Add Water have made a lot of contributions to it, including new levels, new areas, new secret zones, and improved gameplay, just to name a few.

"Abe now has to save his own skin from the grinders, but simply escaping the flesh farm is only the start of his Oddysee - for many dangers await Abe on his journey to discover his destiny. Built from scratch from the ground up, enjoy new breathtaking visuals, enhanced audio and improved, deeper gameplay as New 'n' Tasty reignites the original Oddworld game using the latest next-generation technology," reads the Steam synopsis.

The system requirements for the game are pretty high, but it's nothing that most gamers won't be able to handle. Users will need to have at least  Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, an AMD Athlon X4 750K CPU, 4 GB or RAM, Radeon R7 200, and 10GB HDD space.

The promotion for Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty will end on June 5.
