Nuclear Dawn, a FPS and RTS blend developed by InterWave Studios and published by Iceberg Interactive, will be a Steam for Linux version very soon.

According to the developers, Nuclear Dawn is actually the first game to provide a complete FPS and RTS experience, without having to compromise the gameplay model.

“Good news for all you Linux fans out there, we have started to work on Nuclear Dawn version 7.0 which apart from some bug fixes will also include support for Linux! Stay tuned for more news later this month!” wrote the developers on Steam.

Nuclear Dawn has been released on the Steam platform a couple of years ago and it enjoyed good reviews all around. You can find more details about FPS/RTS combination on the official Steam for Linux website.
