Nitrux OS Icons, a pack of handcrafted icons that are compatible with a lot of operating systems, including Ubuntu, Linux Mint, and Arch Linux, has been updated yet again and has reached version 3.2.5.

The icons in Nitrux OS are infinitely scalable, which is one of the most interesting features of this icon pack. In theory, its designers don't need to make different versions for 32px, 48px, 64px, 128px, and so on, only one version that works flawlessly on all resolutions.

With over 6,000 icons available, it's hard to find a program that doesn't get its own personalized icon. According to the developer, new folders have been added, and the 4kvideodownloader and Xchat icons have been added.

Also, the icons for Dukto, Light Table, Nicotine+, ExFalso, Hamster time tracker, Cisco Packet Tracer, Any.do, Plex, Telegram, Chrome's app list, Bitorrent Sync, and a few others have been added.

The installation for Ubuntu 13.10 (13.04, 12.10, and 12.04) is quite simple and can be done from a terminal, with the help of a PPA. This type of installation is preferable because it will allow the icon pack to update along with the system. Open a terminal and enter the following commands (you will need to be root for this to work).

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:upubuntu-com/nitrux sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install nitruxos

For Arch Linux, enter the following command:

yaourt -S nitrux-icon-theme

You can also download Nitrux OS Icons 3.2.5 right now from the gnome-loor.org.
