Nitrux OS Icons, a pack of handcrafted icons that are compatible with a lot of operating systems, including Ubuntu 13.04, has been updated to version 3.0.7.

The icons in Nitrux OS are infinitely scalable, which means that they are compatible with a large number of operating systems.

More than 6,000 vector icons have been included in this pack, and all of them are hand-painted. A minimalistic approach has been used to design the icons and to avoid cluttered desktops.

Highlights of Nitrux OS 3.0.7:

• Symbolic icons [for elementary OS] have been revised for Gnome Online Accounts, Lockscreen in Gnome Control Center/Switchboard, Google, Calculator, and Various actions; • Krita and Kexi are now displaying the correct icons; • New icons have been added for Birdie [+custom icons], eStudio (Baseline), Pomidor, Agenda, Footnote, Geary [custom icons], Kamoso, Kaddressbook, Various KDE preferences categories, Gazette, and Ark.

The installation for Ubuntu 13.04 is quite simple and can be done from a terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:upubuntu-com/nitrux sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install nitruxos
