Nitro 1.5 is a tool that makes tasks management easy for everyone. It's fast, simple, can be used without an internet connection, and now it has just landed in the official Ubuntu repositories.

Nitro 1.5 packs quite a few features, but the most interesting is by far the Dropbox and Ubuntu One support.

With smart lists and magic sort, users can keep their life organized and focus on what needs to be done. It's also totally free.

More importantly, the software has just landed in the Ubuntu Software Center. Unfortunately, you will need to register for an account because upon installation you will have to “buy” the applications for $0.

If you prefer a more traditional method of installation, the developers also provide a PPA. Open a terminal and enter the following commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:cooperjona/nitrotasks sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install nitrotasks

You can also download Nitro 1.5 from Softpedia.
