Google Chrome, a browser built on the WebKit layout engine that aims to be minimalistic and versatile at the same time, is now at version 26.0.1410.63.

The Stable branch of Google Chrome has just received a consistent update, after almost a week of inactivity. There aren’t too many changes, but users should upgrade nonetheless.

Highlights of Google Chrome 26.0.1410.63:

• Various stability improvements have been implemented; • GetPartSize has been fixed and it’s now accounting for the customized themes; • The sa_restorer field is now reseted before execve(); • The data reduction experiment has been removed in about:flags; • A misnamed function call in popup.js in Chrome Extension has been corrected; • Audio notifications are only triggered on changes.
