Mozilla has just released the second Alpha release in the Firefox 26.x branch, and it's now available for download and testing.

The Mozilla Firefox 26.x
branch is called Aurora and it's considered to incorporate all the new features and changes available for the browser.

The Linux binaries for Mozilla Firefox 26.0 Alpha 2 are available for download and users can run them in parallel with the existing installation of Firefox.

The developers have implemented quite a few new features, such as script-generated password for fields for the password manager and H.264 support, especially for Linux users, if the necessary gstreamer plug-in are installed on the host machine.

More details about this release can be found on the official website. Download Firefox 26.0 Alpha 2 right now from Softpedia.

Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
