A software called Steam Controller Configs has been spotted in the CDR database, with support for all Steam available platforms.

The Steam Controller has been announced by Valve a short while back, and it's more than a concept. It will be the preferred method of control for the new Steam OS and Steam Machines that will be launched at the beginning of 2014.

Now, users have spotted an entry in the CDR database for something called Steam Controller Configs, which seems to be an application with support for Linux, Windows, and Mac OS, needed to configure the upcoming controller.

A Steam Controller Configs hub is already up and running on the Steam website, which means that the software is not all that far behind. The new controller is expected to arrive in 2014, but Valve hasn't specified a tighter schedule for that launch.
