Maureen Jett, a product director from VanDyke Software, has announced that SecureCRT 7.0.4 is now available for Linux, for both Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux OSes.

SecureCRT 7.0.4 provides terminal emulation for computing professionals, raising productivity with advanced session management and a host of ways to save time and streamline repetitive tasks.

Highlights of SecureCRT 7.0.4:

• The application no longer crashes if a SFTP tab is performing a transfer; • Opening the default session in a script no longer causes SecureCRT to crash; • The changes are now saved when the "Automate logon" items used in a session are re-ordered; • The stop bits were are now logged correctly in the trace output.
