Percona Server, an enhanced drop-in replacement for MySQL that will allow queries to run faster and more consistently and to consolidate servers on powerful hardware, is now at version 5.5.28-29.3.
Highlights of Percona Server 5.5.28-29.3:
• Rows_read was calculated in a way that lead to a negative value being printed in the slow query log; • Values for Rows_sent and Rows_read are no longer identical in the Slow Query Log; • An unsigned math error in fsp_reserve_free_extents has been fixed; • When mysqldump was used with --innodb-optimize-keys, it did not handle composite indexes correctly.
A complete list of changes and updates can be found in the official announcement.
