14 DAY TRIAL // Mozilla has officially released Thunderbird 24.1.0, an email and RSS client, for all the available platforms, including Linux.
A new version has been released for the Thunderbird 24.x branch, but there is no information about the changes and the fixes that usually follow a new build.
It's interesting to note that Firefox and Thunderbird have been separated once again. Firefox 25 has been released, but Thunderbird didn't make the same jump.
In any case, you can run the new Thunderbird in parallel with the old one, if you don't want to upgrade. Just download the archive, extract it, and run the executable file. Also, keep your eyes on the release notes, maybe Mozilla will grace us with some details after all.
