Mozilla officially released Thunderbird 17.0.6 for Linux, an email and RSS client, featuring just a few security fixes.

This is just a minor update for Mozilla Thunderbird, as it can be easily seen from the small number of changes and fixes.

Highlights of Mozilla Thunderbird 17.0.6:

• Thunderbird now supports the Twitter API version 1.1 ahead of Twitter closing the 1.0 version; • The compose window no longer causes memory leaks on shutdown; • nsImapMailFolder::HasMsgOffline() is now used instead of checking for nsMsgMessageFlag::Offline in nsAutoSyncState.cpp; • A crash, that was happening because of a corrupt filter in Thunderbird, has been corrected. • Various security fixes have been implemented in this latest version.
