Mozilla officially released the Mozilla Thunderbird 15.0.1 email and RSS client to the world on September 10th, 2012, and now it is available in Ubuntu OSes.

Thanks to Canonical, Mozilla Thunderbird 15.0.1 has just arrived on the Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, Ubuntu 11.10, Ubuntu 11.04 and Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.

The new version only fixes a couple of problems, reported in two different Launchpad bugs, #1049428 and #1045196.

Some stability issues, causing crashes when searching emails and forwarding emails, has been repaired, along with a nasty interface bug.

All Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS, Ubuntu 11.10, Ubuntu 11.04, and Ubuntu 10.04 LTS users can update their Thunderbird email client to version 15.0.1 right now, by using the Update Manager software.
