After three Beta releases, the final version of the Mozilla Firefox 38.0.5 web browser has arrived today for all supported operating systems, including GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows, and Mac OS X.

Mozilla Firefox 38.0.5 is a small feature release that finally integrates the world's most used tool for saving articles to read later, Pocket. Unfortunately, Mozilla's implementation of Pocket (formerly Read It Later) is not as you might expect.

Additionally, the Reader View tool has been improved to offer clean formatting of blog posts and articles across the Web, and there's now a new function that allows you to share the active window or tab in a Hello conversation.

Lastly, a bug that could have made the web browser to no longer repaint windows when switching tabs has been addressed. A known issue remains in this release, as responsive images won't be updated when the enclosing viewport is modified.

Mozilla published the new Firefox packages on the main FTP server of the project earlier today, so if you don't want to wait to upgrade to the new version via the built-in updater, you can download Firefox 38.0.5 for GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows operating systems via Softpedia.
