Monitorix, a free, open source, lightweight system monitoring tool designed to monitor as many services and system resources as possible, is now at version 3.1.0.

Monitorix was created to be used under production UNIX/Linux servers, but due to its simplicity and small size, it can be used on embedded devices as well.

Highlights of Monitorix 3.1.0:

• A complete statistical FTP graph has been added; • The 'serv' graph now uses 'secure_log' log file to get FTP login statistics. Alternatively the 'ftp_log_date_format' option has been renamed to 'secure_log_date_format'; • Fixed in 'lmsens' to better handle the returned value (an error) when the 'nvidia-smi' command is not installed in the system; • Fixed a bug in how data was collected using 'ipfw' that affected the 'port' graph which was showing more activity than real.
