Clonezilla Live 2.2.0-8, a Linux distribution based on DRBL, Partclone, and udpcast that allows users to do bare metal backup and recovery, is now available for testing.

Clonezilla Live 2.2.0-8 is a new development version for this distribution and the developers have chosen to move a little faster with the numbering systems. There are now major differences, but some packages have been updated.

“The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2013/Oct/07). Package drbl has been updated to 2.5.7-drbl1, and Clonezilla has been updated to 3.7.5-drbl1,” reads the announcement.

Download Clonezilla Live 2.2.0-8 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
