The new version of the Clonezilla distribution can be downloaded from Softpedia

Clonezilla Live 2.2.0-16, a Linux distribution based on DRBL, Partclone, and udpcast that allows users to do bare metal backup and recovery, is now available for download.

Clonezilla Live 2.2.0-16 is a new stable version for this distribution and the developers have chosen to move a little faster with the numbering systems.

“The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2013/Oct/29),” reads the announcement.

The developers also decided to update the Linux kernel to a more recent version, 3.11.6-1. For now, this is the latest stable branch of the kernel.

Also, drbl has been updated to version 2.6.8-drbl1, and Clonezilla has been updated to 3.8.2-drbl1. Check the official announcement for more details about this release.
