Clonezilla Live 2.2.0-15, a Linux distribution based on DRBL, Partclone, and udpcast that allows users to do bare metal backup and recovery, is now available for testing.
Clonezilla Live 2.2.0-15 is a new development version for this distribution and the developers have chosen to move a little faster with the numbering systems. There are no major differences, but some packages have been updated and a new Linux kernel has been integrated, namely 3.11.5-1.
“The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2013/Oct/22). Package drbl has been updated to 2.5.13-drbl1, and Clonezilla has been updated to 3.7.16-drbl1,” reads the announcement.
Also, the boot parameter vmwgfx.blacklist=yes has been replaced by vmwgfx.enable_fbdev=no.
