Mesa, an open source implementation of the OpenGL specification and a system for rendering interactive 3D graphics, is now at version 9.2.3.

Mesa 9.2.3 is the next iteration in the series and it implements the OpenGL 3.1 API. This means that some drivers might not support the specification for the latest Mesa.

According to the developers, a few fixes have been added in this maintenance version. An error that occurred when calling glGenQueries/glDeleteQueries while a query is active has been fixed, a broken triangle/line drawing has been fixed, and the texture buffer rendering after a whole buffer replacement has been corrected.

Also, Composite Bypass now works correctly, and vertex attributes have been enabled in the context of the newly created array objects.

More details about this release can be found in the official announcement. Download Mesa 9.2.3 right now from Softpedia.
