Mesa, an open source implementation of the OpenGL specification and a system for rendering interactive 3D graphics, is now at version 10.1.4.

Mesa 10.1.4 is the next iteration in the series and implements the OpenGL 3.3 API. This means that some drivers might not support the specifications for the latest Mesa. The developers have been releasing numerous updates over the past few weeks and there is no sign that they are slowing down.

"Mesa 10.1.4 has been released. Mesa 10.1.4 is a bug fix version which fixes bugs fixed since the 10.1.3 release," reads the official announcement.

According to the changelog, double-freeing the dispatch tables inside glBegin/End is now working as it should, MD5 sums for 10.1.4 have been added, samplers are now used for UBOs in the VS, cond codes on all the OP_SET variants are now reversed, the setting of texture info has been fixed, the integer mul lowering for u32 x u32 > high u32 has been fixed, and the anisotropic filtering state setup has been fixed.

More details about this release can be found in the official announcement. You can download the Mesa 10.1.4 sources right now from Softpedia. There is no binary file available, so it’s better to get the update from the official repositories.
