Manjaro KDE, a Linux distribution based on well-tested snapshots of the Arch Linux repositories and 100% compatible with Arch, has been released as a respin of the original Manjaro OS.

This new Manjaro distribution comes with KDE 4.11, Amarok 2.8.0, Firefox 23.0.1, Octopi 0.2.0, and VLC 2.0.8a as the default media player.

“On behalf of the Manjaro Turkey Community I’m happy to announce our KDE Respin of Manjaro Linux ‘Ascella’. We thank the Manjaro developers putting up this nice platform to easily create our own custom spin of Manjaro,” reads the official entry on the Manjaro Blog.

Manjaro is a user-friendly Linux distribution based on the independently developed Arch operating system and it is known for being extremely customizable.
