A new update pack has been released for the main Manjaro distribution

Manjaro 0.8.7, a Linux Distribution based on well-tested snapshots of the Arch Linux repositories and 100% compatible with Arch, has just received a new update pack, raising the number to seven.

A new maintenance update has been made available for the users of the official flavor of Manjaro, bringing a few much needed updates to various applications.

“With this we updated Cinnamon, Gambas, Mozilla apps, java and VirtualBox. From our side we worked on thus, which is now a beta software, pamac and octopi, plus manjaroiso.” reads the official announcement.

The current supported Linux kernels are 3.4.67 (which is also the default), 3.8.13.11 (stable extended support kernel maintained by Canonical), 3.10.17, and 3.11.6.
